WELCOME!

I'm a relative newcomer to the numismatic and bullion coin business. I first got into it because I had a strong sense we were heading fast into a downward spiral and I knew I had to do something to secure my family's future. Like you, I watched the stock markets tumble. I saw friends and family losing their life savings; their retirement funds. And then along came the biggest Ponzi scheme ever - making Enron look like a 7-11 hold up by comparison - and I knew I had to do something more. That's when I decided to write A GUIDE TO GETTING STARTED IN NUMISMATIC COINS AND BULLION.

I took everything I've learned about investing in the coin business over the past year or so - the good AND the bad - and put it into this guide in the hopes it will help others profit from my research and learn from my mistakes. In addition, you'll find charts, detailed photographs and a complete list of Resources including websites, important phone numbers and recommended reading. I don't pretend to have all the answers, but I do know one thing: Uncle Sam isn't going to bail me out the way he's bailed out Wall Street. It's up to me to secure my family's financial future. And for me, that means the security of numismatic and bullion coins.

I wish you good fortune.

Mike
